We Open Source

Here are a few things we are actively working on.

MassROUTE Pi

An exploration in displaying real-time MBTA bus data using a Raspberry Pi.

The advent of microcontrollers has broadened how we can consume and present data in the hands of software developers.

See Project

Madmin

An Administative Console for generating mock services with RESTful URIs.

Outside of our normal mocking and stubbing in unit tests, when building data-heavy, enterprise applications we have found it useful to run a 'live' mock server for proper integration testing for client-side developers as the services are being developed.

Unit Test Examples

We are big proponents of Test Driven Development.

Found here is a growing list of examples of unit testing across various languages using different libraries and software tools.

See Project

Grunt-Init Templates

When it comes to web-based development and deployment, we are strong believers in Grunt as a build tool.

Occasionally when a project setup is successful in delivering software across multiple projects, we standardize a project template to allow for easy scaffolding of any subsequent projects.

See Project

Dev Ops

Some things just need to be automated when it comes to maintaining and delivering software.

Found here is a growing list of utilities written in different languages to aide in building, delivering and maintaining the development operations at Infrared5.

Tech Talks

On occasion we give internal presentations on technology.
